SUNDAY 31 MAY - 10AM at POWER PARK.
Everyone is invited to attend a short commemorative service to mark the 84th anniversary of the day three Japanese midget subs came to Sydney.
The first was entangled in the boom nets and destroyed by its crew. The second fired at USS Chicago, missing it but hitting HMAS Kuttabul, killing 21. This sub was discovered in 2006 by divers off Sydney's northern beaches. The third was destroyed by depth-charges in the harbour.
