Bay Community Food Pantry Our mission is to change lives in our community that we serve providing access to food & friendship. No one is ever turned away.

The Bay Food Pantry exists to help families and individuals in the community with food relief. If you’re finding it hard to make ends meet and in need of some extra help with groceries, please do not hesitate to come to our community pantry. We do ask for a $15 donation for each parcel to help cover the cost of logistics and sustainability of this programme. However please do not let not having a

donation ever stop you from coming. Our food parcels consist of a variety of pantry items, fruit, vegetables and bread. The Bay Food Pantry is a ministry of the Bay Community Seventh Day Adventist Church, we operate every Thursday from the Salvation Army Church, 158 Station Road, Bonnells Bay from
12pm - 2pm. As a "not for profit" organisation, the Bay Food Pantry is self funded, as well as regular donations from donors, community groups, individuals and Adventist Community Services. We’re staffed by church & community volunteers. Our food is supplied by Foodbank NSW/ACT, SecondBite, Aldi (Lake Heaven) and Sanitarium. We know it’s been a little quiet from us online lately, but behind the scenes, our Community Pantry has continued to open its doors and serve our community with food, friendship and a welcoming place to connect.

We’re incredibly grateful for the many wonderful community volunteers who give their time to make each Pantry day possible. A special thank you also goes to the Avondale University Catalyst volunteers, who faithfully come alongside us and help with everything from setting up in the morning, serving throughout the day, and packing everything away at the end.

It truly takes a community to make the Pantry happen, and we are so thankful for everyone who plays a part.

Our Pantry is still going strong! We look forward to continuing to serve, connect and build friendships within our community.

Hey everyone our Community Pantry is open today!

You can register from 11am, and we’ll start food distribution at 12pm. We’ve also got cold items and some specials available.

If you or someone you know could use a bit of extra support, come along, everyone’s welcome. Our good friends the Bonnells Bay Salvation Army also offer assistance with utilities and serve hot and cold beverages.

Today we remember the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of those who served and gave so much for our freedom.

On this ANZAC Day, may we not only honour their legacy but also reflect on the greatest sacrifice of all, Jesus Christ, who gave His life so we could have eternal hope and peace.
