🔋 MEC Student Spotlight: More Renewable Energy Isn’t Enough

Introducing MEC Student Spotlight, a new series highlighting the work and ideas of Monash students across the energy space!

In our first piece, Rory explores how coordinated household batteries could help manage periods of high local electricity demand.
His simulation looks at how strategic battery discharge could lower peak demand and potentially reduce the need for immediate network infrastructure upgrades.

If you’re working on a project, research or something else in the energy space that you’d like to share, feel free to reach out to us, we’d love to hear about it.
