On Wednesday night, we had the honour of hosting our Women in Energy night. To begin, our panelists answered questions from our moderator, President of the Monash Energy Club, May McGrath. Our amazing panelists shared their experiences, personal insights and suggestions to our attendees about the energy sector. Through which, we extend a huge thank you to all the companies that came and more specifically our panelists - Minh Khue Nguyen (KPMG), Lakna Liyanarachi (Vestas), Gabrielle Hughes (Monash Energy Institute and Tash P**n (BECA). After the panel, students and industry a like had the opportunity to get acquainted, further expanding their connections and understanding of the energy industry. Overall, it was amazing to see so many attendees from all disciplines come ready with questions, to which we thank you for making events like this possible!

🥇 Monash Energy Institute Award : Group 5
For their community battery development project. winning $5000 !

🥈 Vestas Award : Group 8
For their idea turning midday solar into clean transport, winning $2000 !

🥉 Monash Energy Club Award : Group 2
For their free charging scheme, winning $500 !

All three winning teams will also be heading on a CitiPower/Powercor site visit as part of their prize.
