Monash University Hockey Club Monash Hockey is a progressive club located at the Monash University Clayton campus that welcomes hockey players of all skill levels.

Situated at the heart of Monash University’s Clayton campus, our facilities include a state-of-the-art, FIH-approved water-based ground, as well as modern, well-equipped club rooms and a well-stocked, licensed canteen. With over 200 members, we are one of the most fun and dynamic Monash clubs – come see for yourself! Our club was founded in 1962 and has st

eadily been growing ever since the combination of the men’s and women’s playing sections in the early 1990s. Today, our Seniors and Masters teams play across Vic League 1, Pennant and Metro Divisions – no matter your level of skill or hockey background, we will certainly have a spot for you! Our wonderful coaches and committee members are dedicated to providing you with an engaging and enjoyable playing experience, whether you’re joining us to play competitively at a higher level, or purely for the social component of team sports. Off the field, we have a vibrant social atmosphere, with a full calendar of events ranging from trivia nights, weekend ‘Farmdome’ barbeques and our annual presentation day event. Our members are made up of both Monash University students and alumni, as well as a diverse group of community members. We pride ourselves on our inclusive and progressive values and accept players from all backgrounds and hockey-playing abilities. If you’re new to Monash University or to the area generally, you’ll be surrounded by supportive peers and mentors. We have players who have joined us from regional Victoria, interstate and even internationally who have formed lifelong friendships at our club. You’ll make connections in a heartbeat, and we even offer an impressive student discount on our fees! Some tough games this round, with only our Women’s Pennant C and VL1 teams bringing home a win.
This weekend there’s no hockey due to the public holiday, we hope everyone rests up and comes back ready to crack into the second half of the season!

With hot sun one day, rain the next, and a lot of players out across the board this week, our teams still rocked up and put on a show in tough conditions. Hopefully next week holds a few more successes for us at Monash Hockey 💙

After our last few home games celebrating Women’s Round this weekend, we are proud to have raised over $550 for through the bake sale and purchases of pink socks 💖
This fantastic organisation aims to prevent violence against women by providing education and resources, and working towards gender equality. Thank you to everyone for your generous support 💕

Women’s Round Recap 💞🌸
Monash Hockey is incredibly proud to have five stacked Women’s teams, as well as a 45+ women’s masters team. Our committee is made up of 58% women, and we are completely dedicated to making our club a safe and supportive place for all to play.

This women’s round, we raised money for Our Watch, an organisation that does invaluable work to provide education, resources and programs to support the prevention of violence against women, including First Nations women, women of colour and those within the LGBTQIA+ community.
It’s incredibly important that we do our part to prevent discriminatory beliefs, behaviours and actions that contribute to gender-based violence.
