National Road Safety Partnership Program

The National Road Safety Partnership Program offers a collaborative network to support Australian businesses in developing a positive road safety culture.

The NRSPP has been established to provide a collaborative network for Australian businesses and organisations to help them create a positive road safety culture both internally and externally. It aims to help organisations of all sizes, across all sectors, to share and build road safety initiatives specific to their own workplace and beyond. It is delivered by ARRB and funded primarily by a govern

What does a fatigue-aware workplace actually look like?

It starts with understanding the science, recognising the signs, and having open conversations about managing fatigue before it becomes a risk.

That's exactly what RACV staff explored during the Building a Fatigue-Aware Culture in Your Fleet workshop, facilitated by Jerome Carslake (NRSPP) and Dr Amanda Stephens (Monash University Accident Research Centre).

Soon, you'll be able to access the workshop recording, presentation slides and facilitator notes to run the same session with your own team.

This workshop was developed from research under the AAA's Road Safety Research Program, funded by Australia's motoring clubs, including the NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAC, RAA, RACT and AANT.

Communication Design students in Monash University's ‘Culture, Society, and Identity’ studio began the semester with introductions in the classroom, meeting the people whose stories they'll be designing around. The first guests were from Toll: Driver Maurice Goodwin, Scheduler and Driver Michelle Nuku, and Senior Manager for Safety Daniel Brain.

Joining them was Chief Technical Officer Adam Ritzinger from the Heavy Vehicle Industry Association (HVIA), who spoke to the technology and innovation shaping modern heavy vehicle operations, Australia's position as a global leader in the sector, and the growing skills shortage facing the industry.

The National Road Safety Partnership Program (NRSPP) is proud to announce that Elders has successfully completed the Partner Measures Assessment Tool (PMAT), marking an important milestone in NRSPP’s partner engagement framework.

The PMAT represents a renewed approach to how NRSPP works with and supports its partners. Designed to help organisations better understand their workplace road safety culture, the tool enables partners to identify strengths and gaps, implement targeted actions, and measure progress over time.
