Morning all.

Bit of a funny request today, we’re hoping the local community can help out.

A lovey interstate lady contacted us last week regarding a trophy that used to be awarded during the Bushing Festival. It’s not been awarded since the mid 90’s. I’ve pictured it below.

She’d love for the trophy to find its way back to McLaren Vale and to be put to use, maybe in a museum, on display at a winery or maybe . . just maybe be recycled into a new award. We’d love to help her, but we’re a bit stuck as to how to best more forwards with this. Could any locals steer us in the right direction please?

Please please.

Could the person who is putting their rubbish in our recycling bin stop? We know who it is and council will be contacted next time we have your rubbish dumped on our premises. This will result in a visit from a council representative.

Now our volunteers need to empty your rotting waste into the correct bin before filling the recycling bin. This is the 3rd time that you’ve utilised our bins or simply dumped your waste on our property.

We’ve tried to sort this issue out privately and in a dignified manner, and are at a loss at why you’re continuing. Perhaps we now need to invest in security cameras to send evidence to the council, which is something we really don’t want to have to do. Just use your own bin for your nappies and food stuff from now on.

Please stop dumping rubbish around our hall. A couple of weeks ago it was rotting foodstuff and dirty nappies. There was an addressed envelope amongst the rubbish so the committee have attempted to handle this privately by sending a letter to the address. Sadly today there was more rubbish dumped in a trolley next to the hall with the same name and address.

This time we’ve taken your trolley full of rubbish back to your house and left it next to another trolley already there.

Council have been contacted regarding having security cameras or a bin being locked - this is at more expense to the hall. We don’t have infinite resources to spend on extra bins and security because somebody doesn’t want to use their own bins.
