We had another wonderful donation of pet food from ARC.

This pet food is so beneficial for those who are needing food assistance. Last year 259 parcels received pet assistance through the generous donations of pet suppliers to ARC.

Thank you so much

Papua New Guinea Church is not meeting at the Stables this last Sunday of the month but they are joining with others at the Berean Aboriginal Church in Cheltenham for a combined service. This is the Indigenous and Pacific Islands Christian Community service. Everyone is welcome of course. The PNG Church is catering for the event.

So sad to advise our community that Emily the Emu was hit by a car today on South Road and passed away a short time later.

Thank you so much to all those who came to help. Those who stopped traffic and stayed with her, the officer from SAPOL and to SKER who took her to care for her. She passed away soon after they picked her up from the scene of the accident.

There was no Emu like Emily who loved people and brought so much pleasure to us all.
