Join our friendly, supportive Scouting teams and make a real difference in the lives of young people.

No prior scouting experience needed — just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to get involved. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

What You’ll Do
🔥 Run fun and engaging weekly sessions
🏕️ Support camps, outdoor adventures, and community activities
🌱 Help build confidence, resilience, and teamwork in local kids
🤝 Be part of a positive, community‑focused group

Who We’re Looking For
✔ Adults aged 18+
✔ Enjoy working with young people
✔ Able to commit to regular meetings (flexible options available)
✔ Parents, carers, and community members all welcome

🪪 Must be eligible for a Working With Vulnerable People check
👮 Police check required

Clean up Australia day 2026 at Quota park, small turn out due to the rain, but a big haul all the same.

Thank you to Mackay Sugar for your generous grant, which has enabled our Scout group to purchase new patrol boxes. These boxes will make it much easier for us to safely transport our gear to and from camps, helping our Scouts stay organised and prepared for every adventure. We truly appreciate your support and your investment in the development of young people in our local community.
