Congratulations to Jen Hamilton for this very well deserved award. Jen also volunteers tirelessly for Legacy NT and we are very lucky to have her.
The Northern Territory Police Force congratulates our own Jen Hamilton on being named Bush Champion at the 2026 Bush Summit in NSW yesterday.
This recognition could not have gone to a more deserving recipient.
Jen has dedicated much of her life to serving and supporting others, both professionally and within the community.
In addition to nearly 30 years of service with NT Police, where she currently holds the rank of Senior Constable First Class, Jen is the first female captain of the Alice Springs Volunteer Bushfire Brigade.
In this role, she is a tireless advocate for volunteers and the community she serves.
No matter which uniform she wears, Jen leads with compassion, commitment and a genuine desire to make a difference.
Police Commissioner Martin Dole, who is speaking at the Bush Summit today, had the opportunity to personally congratulate Jen on this outstanding achievement.
Congratulations, Jen, on this well-deserved honour. Your dedication, leadership and service continue to inspire those around you.
