Darwin Athletics Club Darwin Athletics Club extends a warm tropical welcome to all athletes, parents, guardians and friend

The DAC Athletics Season is from March to September each year (during the dry season)

The Club has qualified coaches and offers weekly training during the season. Volunteers, Coaches and athletics officials are very welcome to be a part of the Clubs activities. Training Opportunities
TUESDAY 3yrs +. 17:30-18:30pm
FRIDAY 6yrs + & AWD group. 17:30-18:30pm

đź“Ł Massive achievement by DAC athlete Bronte Bellot at All Schools Athletics in Victoria!
Friday and Saturday she competed in the 400m and 800m Women’s Under 16yrs at Lakeside stadium and WON both events (in cold wet conditions!). Such a star🌟. One to watch👀 We are so proud of you Bronte.

Congrats to all our athletes at the NT Champs this weekend. It was hot with gusty wind but that didn’t stop you! Great to see the support for team mates and happy faces at the finish. The medals are also very cool! Keep an eye on Athletics NT page for photos.

DAC members….. do you still need to collect your bib for NT Champs? Track down Lara or Annalise on Friday from 5pm (we should be in DAC shirts) We aren’t running canteen so will be in the stands or helping out. Remember to compete in a club singlet shirt or crop!

Technical rules; please have a read though the competition rules on the Athletics NT webpage for the Chamionship.

A few points here….
Compete in your club uniform.
If you can’t compete in an event you have registered for… fill out a scratch form and give it to Officials or you may be prevented from competing in all events. 📝
Scheduling clash? đź••Talk to an offical no later than 1 hr before your events to fill out a clash notice. Also let the offical know when marshalling of your events

An offical will es**rt you to your event start. Meet near the centre gate at the following times before your event;

• Field events – 30 minutes
• Track events – 15 minutes for laned events
• Track events – 20 minutes for non laned events (800m+)

DAC coaches will be there at different times through the event. Chat to us before or message here if you need advice. Good luck!
