๐ด๐ก FLAGS UP ๐ด๐ก
And just like that, the Top End has kicked off the patrolling season!
The season was officially marked yesterday with the Raising of the Flags at Nightcliff Beach, attended by a number of our volunteers, the Australian Lifeguard Service, and key community representatives, including the Lord Mayor of Darwin, the Honourable Peter Styles and Ed Smelt.
So, what does this mean for you?
A number of your favourite beaches are now patrolled during peak times by our dedicated Surf Life Saving volunteers and the Australian Lifeguard Service.
The safest place to swim is always between the red and yellow flags.
