A big shout-out to teams at Westpac , like these friendly faces at Nhulunbuy and Darwin, who supported our Lifesaver 1 with plenty of energy and community spirit.

Their support forms part of Westpac’s Rescue Helicopter Month, helping raise awareness and funds for the Service and the lifesaving work our crews do every day.

For over a decade, Sea-Doo has teamed up with Surf Life Saving Australia to support safer experiences on the water ❤️💛

Celebrating out on the water today? Remember to wear your lifejacket, stay aware of your surroundings and make safety part of every adventure.

The man, the myth, the legend!

This month, we celebrate one of our office staff and volunteer, Sam Edwards, who marks 15 years of patrolling in the Top End!

With an incredible 1,300 patrol hours with Mindil Beach SLSC and the Search & Rescue team, Sam is well deserving of this recognition.

He also holds a staggering 216 awards across SLSA and units of competency, and is the main instructor and assessor at Surf Life Saving NT.

Sam was there from the beginning of the Search & Rescue team, and although the equipment and uniforms may have changed, the man behind the wheel remains the same!

Congrats, Sam, on this tremendous achievement! We truly appreciate your ongoing contribution to Surf Life Saving NT and our Search & Rescue team.

Congratulations, Meg! 🙌

Meg Irvine from Gove Surf Lifesaving Club has been selected as a mentee for Cohort 8 of the Women’s Mentoring Program (WMP).

After completing the National Leadership College earlier this year, Meg was inspired to continue building her leadership skills and pursue further professional development opportunities through Surf Life Saving Australia.

The WMP brings together 25 mentees and 25 mentors from across Australia, matched around their leadership goals and experiences. Meg has already had two meetings with her mentor, Sam Dwyer from Hampton Life Saving Club in Victoria.

We’re proud to see Meg continuing to grow as a leader and look forward to following her journey throughout the program!

It's back! 🎣Million Dollar Fish S12 kicks off today!

For the second year running, Surf Life Saving NT is proud to be the charity partner of Million Dollar Fish.

It’s an exciting partnership that brings together two things Territorian's love - fishing and supporting our community.

We’re incredibly grateful to Northern Territory – Australia and the Northern Territory Government for continuing to support the work of Surf Life Saving NT and helping us make a difference in keeping Territorians safer in, on and around the water.
