is a affiliated with Australian National Sportfishing Association (ANSA). We are a small club with a goal to promote the principles of Sport, Conservation and Integrity in fishing and provide opportunities for mateship, education and skills development. The club achieves this by offering members the following;
Participation in ANSA national and state competitions however the level of participati

on is up to each individual. Opportunity to collect data for research via participation in ANSAQ Tagging program, including the opportunity to obtain tagging accreditation within the club. Participating in organising the KSFC annual Saratoga Tagging Challenge "Tag A Toga". Monthly meetings to socialise and learn new techniques, and find out what's biting and what tactics and tackle work. A monthly outing to local fishing locations with other members and families. A weekend fishing trip away targeting specific species every quarter. Opportunity to compete in annual club challenges and championships. Membership
Our financial year runs from 1st July to 30th June. new members can join anytime with half yearly fees available from 1st January. Current fees are;
Single adult member $60.00
Family membership $80.00
Junior $20.00

The Kingaroy Sportfishing Club Inc. was founded by members of the Broadway Fishing Club in the 1980's. Several members of the club attended an ANSA Queensland State Conference and sought to gain affiliation. Past execs

Big shout out to host club Bundaberg Sportfishing Club Inc. for a wonderful ANSA Queensland Interclub challenge 2026.
Well done everyone.
Was great to see 4 Ansa Qld sport fishing clubs attend the Interclub Challenge including Bundy, Redcliffe Peninsula Game & Sportfish Club Inc. , Kingaroy Sport Fishing Club Inc , and Southern Brisbane Sportfishing Club.
The windy conditions evened the playing field out with the Redcliffe Wally’s taking home the trophy.
Kingaroy Sportfishing club Interclub challenge members gave it a solid crack with some notable catches and usual interclub banter and good times.
Can’t wait for Ansa Qld Interclub 2027!!!

A welcome change the club got some favourable weather conditions ☀️🌅 at this months Turkey Beach club trip.
🛥️Some members elected to head out wide and were rewarded with some very sizeable catches and species.
🚤The rest of the members stayed in closer and were also rewarded with numerous species and bountiful catch.
🐟As always things don’t go exactly as planned with some boat and trailer issues and club members supported each other and looked out for each other.
🎣Our club supports and congratulates members pushing their boundaries and comfort zones in reaching new goals.
🏆Well done everyone.
Overall was a good club wkd.
