FIRST AID & CPR ⛑️

Fortified Futures is built to give young people more than 9 days away. It’s designed to send them home with practical skills they can carry well beyond the program 👨‍🚀

As part of their training, participants complete nationally accredited first aid and CPR certification, equipping them with real-world skills that matter in everyday life, future employment, and moments that count..🧑🏻‍🏫

Participants receive nationally recognised certification in:

⛑️ HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
⛑️ HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
⛑️ HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Paired with completed lessons in employment pathways and resume writing, these are practical skills our participants leave with, not just experiences, but tools they can carry forward 🙌🏻

By the time most families contact us, they feel like they’ve run out of options. They’ve tried the conversations, the consequences, the rewards, the counselling, and everything in between.

What makes us different is that we don’t just work with the young person. We work with the family. Fortified Futures is designed to be a circuit breaker that interrupts negative patterns, rebuilds accountability, and creates momentum that continues long after the program ends through our Post Program Support framework 🏠

The Youth Regiment exists to help young people build confidence, resilience and direction..

Our Veteran-led, 9-day youth development program is a circuit breaker for teenagers and their families, combining structure, challenge and genuine support to create lasting change 🤝

Grounded in family-first values, we believe meaningful change doesn’t happen through punishment. It happens when young people are supported, challenged and held to a clear standard 🫡

MEET KHAN 🫡

At just 11 years old, Khan was our youngest participant. A great kid from a loving family, there to build confidence, independence and learn a little more about himself..

He also arrived on Day 1 with a pretty impressive rat’s tail 🙈

Early in the program, Khan offered to have it cut. He didn’t forget either! He asked about it every day until finally, right before graduation on Day 9, it was time. ✂️

We’re often quick to look at a young person and decide their story for them… The way they dress. The way they speak. Their haircut. The company they keep.

But what we see on the outside tells us very little about the young person underneath.

For Khan, this wasn’t about changing how he looked. It was a small moment that came to represent something much bigger.

The haircut didn’t change Khan, he had already done that himself. ❤️

For nine days, parents hand us something priceless.. their trust 🫡

They trust us to challenge their child, hold them accountable, believe in them through the difficult moments, and help lay the foundations for the person they are becoming.

That responsibility is one we never take lightly ✨

Every decision we make, every standard we uphold, and every lesson we teach is guided by the understanding that we’re not just working with a young person, we’re walking alongside a family that wants the very best for them.

While our program lasts nine days, our hope is that the lessons learned, the confidence gained, and the foundations built continue long after graduation 🧑‍🎓

To every parent who places their trust in us, thank you. It is a privilege we will never take for granted.. 🫶
