For those of you following R v Paul Robert Burton and R v Andrew John Katelaris. Trial was originally to start on the 14th October, it made it till the 16th without a Jury then I appealed to the Criminal Court of Appeal. Criminal Court of Appeal refused leave the following week after I made an oral submission before three judges on the 23rd of October outlining amongst other things my very reasonable belief that the state government is trafficking children for profit. Trial was re-listed to start on the 28th October. Jury empaneled on the 28th of October and Crown did their opening address. 29th October one juror was sick, in QLD they empanel 14 jurors so you have two spares but alas not in NSW , so we got an early mark today however the juror now has a certificate for the whole week so tomorrow the 30th October we start all over again with the empanelling of a new Jury.
Millions and millions of tax payer dollars on a now 7 1/2 year journey because it is alleged I said the name of a child on Facebook on four posts along with around four million other people including multi national media corporations , and the last Judge in the Newcastle District Court on the 19th August this year said, even if found guilty (which of course will never happen because the child was removed unlawfully and it had all of the attributes of a kidnapping) the chance of a conviction is somewhere between "buckleys and none"
So we begin again tomorrow from 10am Newcastle District Court courtroom 4.2.
