🌍🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What an incredible milestone for the global parkrun community, 1 MILLION parkrun events completed around the world! 🎉

From first timers taking that brave step to seasoned parkrunners chasing PBs, every walk, jog, run, volunteer shift, and cheer from the sidelines has helped make this achievement possible.

Thank you to everyone who has visited KRWT parkrun over the past 3 years and helping shape the special community that parkrun is!!

Despite the change in weather, 74 enthusiastic participants still made their way to KRWT parkrun this morning, proving that a little bit of unpredictable weather is no match for our amazing parkrun community! 🌦🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge congratulations to Janine, who notched up her 100th parkrun event today! 💯🎉 What a fantastic achievement and one that reflects dedication, perseverance, and a love of parkrun. Such a humble person who wanted the attention to be on Dusty, so we grabbed a quick photo (pic)

Anouk almost caught Ben our timekeeper off guard as she came flying through the Arbor in first place 🥇 in 20:34. Jesse’s female record will be under threat in the coming weeks for sure…🤔

🚨 Event 158 at KRWT parkrun is a GO! 🚨

The walking trail is looking amazing, thanks to the Trustees of the Kilmore Racecourse and Recreation Reserve and the volunteer roster is full and we are all set for another fantastic Saturday morning at KRWT parkrun! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚶‍♀️🐾

Whether you’re chasing a PB, joining us for your very first parkrun, volunteering in a hi-vis vest, or simply enjoying a walk and a chat with friends, we can’t wait to see you at the Wooden Arbor.

👏TEAM VETERAN are heading to Kilmore! 👏

We are excited to announce that Team Veteran will be visiting KRWT parkrun on the 4th July for event 161!

Did you know that Team Veteran is the 2nd largest parkrun team in Australia? 🇦🇺

This is huge for KRWT parkrun so let’s get behind them and support an amazing group. Team Veteran have created an event brite booking link (QR code) on their poster just to get an idea of numbers that will be visiting.

What a fantastic morning at KRWT parkrun for event 157 and we welcomed 78 participants and a few barkwalkers.

We celebrated an incredible 12 personal bests 🔔well done to: Glenn, Deepak, Carlie, Danielle, Reeve, Gabi, Jayde, Mia, Ruby, Freya, Megan and Fran!

We welcomed 10 first timers to parkrun including Ryder, James, Ida, Grant and Cameron who all finished their first parkrun 👏👍👊Welcome to parkrun and thank you for choosing KRWT for your first event!

After all the recent rain, we were treated to surprisingly good conditions, and the walking trail iTrustees of the Kilmore Racecourse and Recreation Reserverk of the Trustees of the Kilmore Racecourse and Recreation Reserveits perfect for running, jogging,walking and cartwheeling 🤸 on.

Well done to everyone who took part, volunteered, yes we can’t do it without you hi vis legends!!

The ‘Book of Opportunity’ is looking a bit sad at the moment so have a think about sticking your hand up for volleying in the coming weeks
