A little update on Llewellyn ❤️
Three of her four wounds from having wire wrapped around one of her feet have healed. The remaining one is 90% there.
The corneal ulcer is not responding to normal treatment so Dr Mark has ordered a different medication for her.
She is eating and drinking well and enjoys the warmth of her hut during inclement weather and chilling nights.
She is a sweet lady that is so patient and is visited by the mini mob frequently 🦘

I bent down to take a photo of Logan and Jack thought I was handing out almonds because his little head popped up.
Caramel gave me side eye despite her not taking almonds from my hand as hers have to come from a food bowl 🤷‍♀️
Probably thinking; "I don't know where your hands have been" 😄

To help my brain switch off occasionally, I have started painting again. This had been started years ago and was collecting dust on an easel in the corner of the room.
Recently I dragged it out, dusted it off and started bringing her back to life.
I am posting it here due to what felt like a dare from my rebel friend in England. Here you go Jane, "The Monarch" 🦘
What is your interpretation of this painting? What can you see that I was trying to convey?
I still have a long way to go with it. It's not nearly close to being finished.

Benalla Golf Club's media release defending its plan to shoot local kangaroos is unacceptable.
The community is demanding the club abandon this cruel proposal, consult local wildlife experts, and adopt humane coexistence strategies. They want clear assurances that the kangaroos will not be shot - not PR spin.
Make your voice heard: compassion and coexistence, not killing.

Look who tried her best to blend in with the mini mob when I went looking for her last night for her last bottle for the day.
Pebbles spent her first night out in the yards and bound up to the house from the darkness with the others when I opened the back door with bottles at 4am.
She'll sleep well tonight ❤️

Over a year ago Dora had orthopaedic surgery on her arm after returning to the house one night with an obvious break. Looking at this photo, you can see the scar on the right where a metal plate was put in to help the radius and ulna bones knit. It was removed several weeks later. Since then she been a happy wildling but has returned more often these last few weeks to rest in the yards and show off her baby.

Pebbles likes to hang out in the yards with the mini mob but likes to come inside late afternoon.
She bounds in, has a snack and then follows Caroline around until a bottle is produced 😊💕🦘

I LOVE weekends. Extra volunteers show up to get things done quickly and efficiently which gives me time to pursue personal endeavours.
Currently I am writing a book that gives meanings to Mr Boo's tarot deck.
The deck is stunning and I can't wait to share it with you all. Here is a sneak peek of THE MAGICIAN:
Kangaroo magic is deep and ancient but not restricted to just them. Humans are capable of tapping into this and doing great things. The power of this magic is around you, now is the time to harness it and manifest your desires and creativity. There is power and resourcefulness in this card.
Reverse: What you are seeing is an illusion, do not be fooled. Manipulation is at play.
(There will be no watermark on the cards once printed)

Whilst some people are off enjoying a long weekend, rescuers are out there saving wildlife.
Here is Caroline from France nursing Louise (Named by Caroline) that arrived for assessment via Rob from the Macedon Ranges Wildlife Network.
A member of the public's dog had spook Louise's mums mob and she fell from the pouch. Unfortunately the dog was not contained so mum couldn't return for her baby.
Please keep dogs away from all wildlife. Little Louise is still unsteady on her legs and her body was caked in mud.
A good clean, a warm bottle and a pouch to snuggle into awaited her as she was transported to another carer that specialises in little tots after being given a clean bill of health ❤️
