At Creative Sparks Projects , we use creative placemaking to bring young people, schools, councils and communities together around a shared purpose. The mural is the visible outcome - but the real impact is created through the relationships, confidence and sense of belonging that develop along the way.

That’s why we believe our work is more than a pretty picture.

It’s about creating places where young people feel connected, valued and empowered to contribute to something bigger than themselves.

Because communities are strongest when they’re built from the community, for the community.

Too often, public art is something delivered to a community rather than created with one. At Creative Sparks Projects , we believe the process matters just as much as the finished piece.

How could a mural bring real connection to your community?

Thanks to the funding and support from the Dandy Vibes Grant Team and for giving the community an opportunity to create a mural that shares a story of Resilience, Welcoming and Harmony.

Using native flora and fauna found through the City of Greater Dandenong and opening up a day for community members to come along and contribute to their community!

Another awesome Project that is more than just another pretty picture! The depth of story carries on because the community came together to create this mural!

Lead Artist & Facilitator will be finalising this mural and can’t wait to share with everyone! If you are around Dandenong Square pop by and chat about our Mural Programs and how they can benefit your community 🙌💥⚡️

By working with schools and communities from regional/ rural areas and disadvantaged areas we can amplify students voices and address inequality across access to wellbeing programs for students directly.

lead a team of local young people & students to create a fantastic design to revitalise the old toilet block!

So lock the date ! 📅 Sunday March 1st and come experience the new skate park & come along to paint your own skateboard deck to take home!

And don’t forget Kyle will be hosting a mural painting workshop for the whole community to contribute to another new mural for the skate park!

Always amazing when the local institutions get behind community driven Mural Programs!

Like Community Bank Lancefield and Romsey supporting our partnership with Lancefield Romsey Lions Club to deliver this Creative Sparks StreetLight Mural Program!

Kyle worked with the local Primary School as well as young people from youth groups, community groups and local high schools to collaborate, design, create and help paint this mural over all four sides of the toilet block at the new Romsey Skate Park!

We can’t wait to share the finished Mural with you all and if your community, youth group, Lions Club, Rotary Club or Community Bank want to support a similar Mural Program to help build and develop your community- send us a message or email and let’s chat about it for 2026!

We were proud to award our largest grant this year to Lancefield Romsey Lions Club, with $45,950 in funding towards Stage 2 of the Romsey Skatepark Upgrade, supporting a youth and community driven mural on the existing toilet block.

Have you seen the mural yet? It was wonderful to see so many people involved in bringing the project to life, both young and old. The artwork has transformed the space into something vibrant and welcoming, while also fostering connection, pride and a strong sense of ownership within the community.

We are pleased to support projects that bring people together and create positive, lasting impact in shared community spaces.
