Meet the first student of our community collab series 💫

We’re so excited to introduce Tamanah, a final-year Orthoptics (Honours) student at La Trobe University 👩‍⚕️📚

Her days are a balance of everything uni life throws at you - from classes and study sessions, to clinical placements and working on her honours project. On top of that, she also tutors students and works as a martial arts instructor 🥋

We’re so grateful to have Tamanah be part of this initiative. Our goal with this series is to share real experiences from our community, helping students explore different pathways, discover new careers, and feel more confident navigating their own journeys.

Got questions about orthoptics, honours, or balancing it all? Drop them below - she’ll be answering your Qs 👇💬

One last moment for our Nawroz & Awards Night ✨

Beyond all the celebrations, this night was about recognising journeys — the late nights, the quiet persistence, the setbacks that turned into comebacks, and the people who kept going regardless.

A very big and heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, , for making the trip to join us. Your words left a lasting impact and added so much depth to the night.

To our award recipients , what you’ve achieved is something to be incredibly proud of. The dedication behind your results, your perseverance through challenges, and the discipline it took to get there does not go unnoticed. The same goes for our community and sports award winners- your passion, commitment, and impact do not go unnoticed, and you inspire those around you more than you know.

As we welcomed the new year, it was so meaningful to pause and celebrate not just achievements, but the people, the journeys, and the shared moments that bring us together.

We hope everyone had an amazing time and can’t wait to see you all again at our next event!
