Earlier this year, Variety SA proudly granted $112,000 to Clare High to help create a safe, accessible and inclusive play space for students of all abilities.

The new space will provide students with an environment to regulate their emotions and sensory needs, while also ensuring students with physical disabilities have a safe and accessible place to play, connect and enjoy time with their peers.

We were delighted to present the cheque to Clare High School Principal Rebekah and STEM Lead Teacher Ryan on Moto Run and hear about what this funding means for their students, school and wider community. ❤️

Day 2 of Moto Run was another incredible day on the road.

Our riders kicked off the morning with breakfast at Flinders Food Co Clare in Clare before cruising through South Australia’s beautiful countryside to the iconic Mallee Fowl for a delicious lunch.

From there, we made our way to the spectacular Monarto Safari Resort, where we enjoyed sunset canapés overlooking the waterhole and took in the breathtaking surroundings. 🌅

The fun continued into the evening with our ‘Scenes of Africa’ theme night, featuring dinner, an auction and live music! 🎶

Congratulations to our Variety Moto Run entrants who dedicate countless hours to fundraising throughout the year, going above and beyond to make a difference for South Australian kids in need.

We’re proud to recognise their fundraising achievements ❤️

Congratulations to Car 03 – Ron & Cherylee, inaugural recipients of the Anthony Toop Award – Highest Fundraiser! 🏆

Established in honour of the late Anthony Toop, the driving force behind the creation of the Variety V2, now known as the Moto Run.

A man of action and consistently the event’s highest fundraiser, Anthony lived by his favourite saying, “If it’s meant to be… it’s up to me.”

This award recognises his extraordinary contribution to an event that since inception has raised over $5 million for SA kids, ensuring his name and legacy live on in perpetuity.

Day 1 of the 2026 Variety Moto Run – Into Africa! 🏍️

What a fantastic start to this year’s adventure! 🌍

Our entrants kicked off the day with breakfast at Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park before hitting the road and heading north through South Australia’s beautiful Mid North.

Along the way, we stepped back in time at Gladstone Gaol, enjoyed some legendary country hospitality at Wirrabara’s Old Bakery and explored the magnificent Martindale Hall Clare Valley SA in Mintaro.

We wrapped up an incredible first day with sunset drinks and dinner at in Clare, who are the generous platinum sponsor of Moto.

And the adventure is only just beginning! 🏍️❤️
