K'Town you really turned out for our first ever 'Katherine Big Shorts Film Festival' and we can’t thank you enough!
Over 560 attendees and 32 films
Thank you to everyone who came down for a sausage, some popcorn and to see a whole lotta films made by Katherine (and NT) locals! A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped along the way - the success of this event could not have happened without you all. Photographer: Penny Fawkner.

KRA expresses our heartfelt sympathy to the Nepalese community of Katherine following the catastrophic glacier flooding on the Nepal/China border. The Nepalese community is an integral part of Katherine. KRA is privileged that members of the Nepalese community attend KRA weekly for work and pleasure. Our thoughts are with our dear friends and colleagues at this devastating time.
