Every week the Central Coast Amateur Radio Club runs a weekly net on the local VK2RAG repeater (146.725, -600KHz offset and 91.5Hz tone) as well as linking up with Echolink all over the place. Please feel free to join on the local repeater or on the HAM conference, IRLP #9556 (or anywhere else that you can hear us).

Central Coast Amateur Radio Club News – June 14, 2026

The club rooms at Kariong are open on Saturdays from 10:30am. As always, members and visitors are most welcome.

As of time of submission, VK2RAG Somersby is only running a limited number of services. Current repeater status can be seen on the Repeaters link on club web site.

The Club’s Weekly net is on Thursday night at 8:00pm on the VK2RAG 2m repeater – 146.725MHz with a 91.5Hz sub-audible tone, and on the HAM Echolink conference. It is also live video-streamed on the club’s page.

You can find out more about the CCARC, including things we can’t talk about here, on the web at ccarc.org.au, by phone on 02 4340 2500; which normally goes to message bank, or on social media by searching for “Central Coast Amateur Radio Club”. Remember to “follow” the page to receive updates.

The club rooms at Kariong are open on Saturdays from 10:30am. As always, members and visitors are most welcome.

The next monthly business meeting will be held on June 13 at 1pm, preceded by a BBQ at midday. Details will be distributed to members by email.
