Our crews were out and about today day feeding the crews on the Bandaroo Road Fire. A job well done by all the crews. We hope you enjoyed your dinner.

After a long day on the fireground, crews working on the Bandaroo Road Fire at Calga can finally take a moment to refuel.

Firefighters have gained the upper hand as conditions have eased, with the fire now under control following a significant firefighting effort.

Crews will remain on the ground tonight, continuing to patrol and strengthen containment lines and mopping up where required.

A well-earned dinner for these crews tonight before the work continues.

Please continue to monitor conditions and stay up to date through Hazards Near Me and the RFS website.
