Hobart Miniature Steam Locomotive Society HMSLS Hmsls is primarily a miniature steam loco group but we welcome all 5 inch and 3.5 inch locos.

While we dont do public running days we welcome visitors to come and have a look if you are interested in seeing what its all about.

On track this weekend, an engine from way back, modelled on the #4 shay from the north mount lyell rail. built originally in the 70s by Miles Ponsonby and his son also Miles. The engine has been reboilered by one of our members and still a bit of a work in progress but was running well. some videos in the comments
