Building our skills one step at a time

Koala and Bilby spent their weekend with a bunch of amazing leaders under the guidance of acknowledged trainers brushing up their skills with wonderful pioneering

Day two saw them assisting in building a nifty bridge over the local river and a gate way with a draw bridge entrance.

Building Skills, One Knot at a Time! 🪢

This weekend, our amazing leaders Koala (Jess) and Bilby (Lisa) are taking their pioneering skills to the next level on the Scouts SA Pioneering Course.

They’ve been busy mastering knots, learning new techniques and putting their skills to the test by creating some impressive structures — including a floating flagpole!

We can’t wait to see what they learn and, most importantly, what new and exciting pioneering challenges they bring back to the hall for our kids to tackle!

Who knows… we might have some future pioneering experts in the making!

🚴‍♀️🌟 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS, JESS! 🌟🚴‍♀️

Today we want to give a massive shout-out to our own Group Leader, Jess! 🎉👏

Over the past few weekends, Jess has pushed herself mentally and physically, putting in the hard work to successfully complete her Trained Participant Cycling Course! 🚴‍♀️💪

This fantastic achievement means that, together with another trained participant, Jess can now help lead our youth on bike rides longer than 4 hours, as well as night rides. 🌙🚲🔥

This is a fantastic skill to add to our group and opens up some exciting new adventures for our youth!

Thank you, Jess, for all the time, effort and determination you’ve put into achieving this — and for everything you do for our group. ❤️

We’re incredibly lucky to have you! 🌟
