43 BATTALION END OF YEAR PARADE

43 ACBN conducted their EOYP to illustrate to staff and cadets of
43ACBN and Australian Cadet Unit (ACU) how an EOYP is conducted. ACUs involved
carried out the procedure of the EOYP in front their Families
and/or friends. The parade was a clear demonstration of their quality of drill and also a representation of their hard work with an award presentation component towards the finale of the parade.

A proud moment in 43 Battalion's history. Congratulations to all the cadet graduates. These graduates are the future of 43 Battalion and will move us forward as our next leaders.

Special mention goes to CDTCPL Grace Johnson who won the Rising Sun Award on the SGT Course.

This exercise enabled cadets to undergo a challenging but supportive environment, as well as military like skill-based training in fieldcraft and drill in support of missed training from the AFX and 43ACBN EOYP.

43 AAC Battalion - SA Schools is holding its End of Year Parade on the Parade Ground at Keswick Barracks, on Sunday 21 November 2021. Cadets and ACS are requested to attend at 1000h. All ACS and Cadets should arrive in Dress Order 4A - General Duty Dress (DPCU).

It is with pleasure that we invite families to attend our parade, to witness our Cadets "march-out". The formal invitation is attached. When you arrive, please follow the directions of our Marshalls, who will guide you to parking places.

The Cadets will be practicing and preparing for the parade throughout the day, and will formally March Out at 1500h. The Cadets will be parading in Dress Order 4Z - AAC Ceremonial, with 413 ACU Pipes & Drums leading them onto the Parade Ground, and following them off. There will be time after lunch for all to change into their Ceremonial uniforms. Please remember, all personnel are to be self-sufficient for lunch. There will not be any food provided.

Due to the risks presented by COVID-19, we will not be able to entertain guests with food or drinks this year.

THE BUSES HAVE LEFT

AFX 21 is officially over. The last buses have left Murray Bridge with all Cadets on board. As these Cadets get home, they may be a bit smelly, quite tired but they will have many stories about this week! They may sleep for 24 hours straight but they have done an amazing job in their courage, resilience, teamwork and overall can do attitude. Here at the South Australian Brigade, we are very proud of all of our Cadets across all three locations.

The buses have left early, all unit ACS should have made contact with all parents. If not, please call them to confirm pick up time.

ANNUAL FIELD EXERCISE 2021

The following images show the best layout, and describe the quantities suitable for AFX. All items are packed in a specific uniform place, for ready available access of essential equipment, reducing noise emission and time spent looking aimlessly. Make consideration that a “weekend only” bivouac will obviously not need seven days supply of clothing, medication, etc.
