Annual Financial Membership is just $5. Members can vote at the AGM, have a say in the Centre, nominate for the Board and receive a free barista coffee or hot chocolate. Membership forms are available from Reception, with payment and forms due by 20 October.

📚 Children’s Book Week 🐛

Kath & Garry from Silver Citz visited the Creche as guest storytellers for Children’s Book Week, sharing a couple of classic favourites - The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Wrong Book.

Of course, some of our little bookworms knew the stories so well that it was more like they were reading to our visitors 😄 📚

Book Week Fun at Hackham West Community Centre! 👀📚🐛

Book Week at the Centre is happening from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August! 📖✨
We have some exciting hands-on activities for children to enjoy as we celebrate the joy of books and reading.

🔎 Where’s Wally? Challenge: Children can become little detectives as they follow the clues and search high and low to spot Wally hidden around our Centre!
🎭 Mask Making Activity: Children can get creative and design their own masks inspired by their favourite book characters.
📚 Book Sale: Our $2 books are now available on the shelves! Come along and find a new favourite story to take home.

These activities are designed to encourage imagination, creativity, problem-solving, and a love of reading - all while having lots of fun with friends
