We’re proud to congratulate our CEO and Veterinary Director, Dr Andrew Clarke OAM, on being awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in the King’s Birthday Honours.
This recognition reflects Andrew’s lifelong dedication to animal welfare, veterinary care, and the wellbeing of countless horses and animals throughout his career. His passion and commitment have helped shape Living Legends into the special place it is today.
As Living Legends celebrates its 20th year this year, it is fitting to recognise the significant role Andrew has played in the organisation’s journey. Through his leadership and commitment, Living Legends has grown into a place where retired champion racehorses can thrive.
In Andrew’s words, “I’ve been very lucky to work with so many good people, teams, volunteers and supporters, and that is what this award is about, especially with my work at Living Legends.”
This honour is a reflection not only of Andrew’s dedication, but also of the many people who have contributed to Living Legends over the past two decades. We thank everyone who has been part of that journey.
