Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit organisation offering healthy, locally made food delivery Frozen meals can also be provided for weekends.

Meals on Wheels is a voluntary organisation, delivering meals to all people of all ages, who through sickness, age and/or disability cannot reasonably get a meal for themselves and who wish to remain with dignity and independence in their own homes. There is no means test as eligibility is based on need, according to CHSP guidelines. Recipients can receive meals on a long or short term basis and delivery is 5 days a week or arrangements can be made two/three days a week according to need. A nutritious meal can be
provided starting at just $8.50 for a main course. No referral required

Our Northern Branches will be closed on 2nd of November (Monday) due to the public holiday. This includes Wynyard, Central Coast, Devonport, Northern Midlands and East Coast. Swansea will be business as usual.

Meals on Wheels Tasmania is seeking a Casual Delivery Driver to help deliver meals and support older Tasmanians and people with disabilities to remain independent in their own homes.

This role provides relief coverage across multiple branches, including Hobart, Glenorchy, Eastern Shore, and Brighton, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and serving their local community.
