2nd Thursday regular meeting, this week 13th February. 1st night back for the new year. A presentation led by W Bro Kontos on freemasonry in other jurisdictions, variations in rituals, perambulations, openings and closings. First comparisons on our Greek brothers, but drawing on experiences of other members visits in /of UK, U.S., French and possibly South American Lodges. Kick off 7:30, supper 8:40/9:00ish. Next month is a simulated First degree.

Our meeting a fortnight ago was a great night, many visitors, several masters from other lodges, witnessed a "dress rehearsal" rendition of the 2nd degree ceremony. And all under the watchful eye of the Grand Inspector of Lodges. Catering for the after party was by Bro Kev. This Thursday, (tonight) 27th November, 2 of our members have cameos at Lodge Pembroke for an initiation. This is Pembroke's 4th initiation this year. Doing something right it seems.

The usual late notice for our Thursday 13 November meeting. A simulated 2nd degree ceremony, with (maybe) some interesting variations from our normal version, due to space restrictions in our downstairs lodge room at Peltro St. BUT all "according to the book". Committee of Management meeting immediately prior at 7:00 for Tas Union members; Coffee, chat and a biscuit from 6:45. Tyling at 7:30, visitors admitted approx 7:45. Supper probably 9:15 ish. Tyler's Toast before 10:30

Thursday 9 October, our next meeting, is the presentation of the 1st Degree Tracing Board, with Extensions, by W Bro Richard Plunkett. Our W Master will be away attending UK lodges so W Bro Coombe will be in the Chair. New Brothers especially welcome, though, from experience, even long standing Brothers get something from the presentation. As usual, tyling 7:30, convivial chat beforehand from about 7, and a sit down hot supper after the formal meeting.

It's 2nd Thursday, late in the day. It's our regular meeting tonight. 7:30 kick off, but coffee and a nibbles from 7:00. Tonight 's work is a presentation by W Bro Richard Plunkett, titled " Filling in the Gaps". As a revered exponent of the 1st Degree Tracing Board - with all the Extensions, this promises to be an enlightening talk on many things Masonic. As usual, hot supper with the usual toasts to follow, probably commencing before 9, Tyler's Toast well before the nominal 10:30. Peltro St Masonic Centre, plenty of parking.
