Murray Hut Branch of the Country Women’s Association of NSW is pleased to announce its new Education Grant Program, supporting local young people as they move from Year 12 into further education or training.
The new program is a change from Murray Hut CWA’s previous scholarship and recognises that young people take a variety of pathways towards their chosen careers.
A $1,000 grant is available to students who will be commencing university, TAFE or an apprenticeship in 2027.
The grant can help with essential costs associated with further education and training, including:
• Textbooks and computers
• Course materials and tools of trade
• Travel expenses
• Accommodation
Who can apply?
Applicants must:
• Reside in Finley or Tocumwal – postcode 2713 or 2714
• Be completing Year 12 in 2026
• Intend to commence university, TAFE or an apprenticeship in 2027
• Demonstrate commitment to their chosen course or trade
Community involvement and clear future goals will also be considered as part of the selection process.
Applications open Tuesday 1 September 2026 and close Friday 9 October 2026.
