NEW & UPDATED:
🐴 HORSES: Horses (excluding Show Jumping) bulk entry fee dropped to $20 per horse (still per rider in the Fun Ring). There will be no Pony Club ring for 2026.
🐑 SHEEP: Ram & Ewe lamb classes added to Lincoln & White Suffolk.
🐓 POULTRY: Finley is hosting the Group 9 Poultry Young Judges Final.
🪡 NEEDLEWORK & HANDICRAFT: Item of Crochet added to junior sub-sections. VAS Needlework Competitions updated.
💐 GROUP EXHIBIT: Floral arrangement theme 'Glasgow Commonwealth Games'
🍯 JAMS: Jar of Honey, Honeycomb, Chilli Jam, and Olive Oil classes added.
🧱 LEGO: Complete overhaul of section, with new classes and themes.
🏫 PRIMARY SCHOOL WORK: Drawing theme 'Commonwealth Games'. Lions Peace Poster theme 'Harmony in Humanity'.
🏫 COOKERY: Four Yo-Yo Biscuits added to Open section and more Junior sub-sections.
📷 PHOTOGRAPHY: Farm Scene is now 'Agriculture in Action (50km radius of Finley)'. 'At the Finley Show' and 'Agriculture in Action' classes now eligible for AgShowsNSW Photography Competition. Southern Riverina Hunting Club prizemoney increased.
🧒 JUNIOR SHOWGOER: You can now pre-enter online, as well as on the day!

We invite you to join the Moulamein Art Gallery Workshop on Saturday, 8 August 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, where Raylene Richardson will lead an introduction to oil painting.

Participants will learn the basics of oil paints, including setup & explore techniques, on oil paper.
The workshop fee of $90 per person includes all materials. Please bring your lunch.

Our newly opened exhibtion features a collection of artwork by local art group members. The exhibtion will run until the end of July. Everyone is welcome to drop by and view some beautiful art and enjoy a cuppa and a chat with our members. We're open every Tuesday 1-5pm and every Saturday 10 - 3pm. Look forward to seeing you there! Please note, entry to the exhibition is free.

“As I paint en plein air on the Cradle Plateau, the brisk alpine air reinforces the harshness of the climate for life in a montane environment.
The many moods of Cradle Plateau bring unforgettable moments, every step a journey into another world of endless shades of copper, gold and plum, interspersed with green mounded cushion plants bringing bursts of colour and texture to dwarfed and contorted alpine gardens.
I sit in quiet adoration, enjoying the stunning vegetation and arthropods, a magical snippet that will stay with me long after I leave.”
