What a special way to officially open our new clubhouse!

A heartfelt thank you to Mercy Baird, Yirrganydji Traditional Owner, for her beautiful Welcome to Country and for helping us begin this celebration by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our club stands.

We’d also like to sincerely thank Mayor Amy Eden, Bree James - Barron River MP , Matt Smith MP, Surf Life Saving Queensland Deputy President Steve Barclay and our President Hamish Jenkins for joining us on this very special day, sharing a few words and helping us celebrate this incredible milestone.

Your support, kind words and presence meant so much to our club and our members.

What a day!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the official opening of our new Ellis Beach Surf Life Saving Club clubhouse yesterday!

It was so wonderful to see the clubhouse filled with so many smiling faces — from our incredible Life Members and past members, to our new members and families, along with SLSQ representatives, local dignitaries and politicians who came along to celebrate this very special milestone with us.

After so many years of planning, hard work and fundraising, it was incredibly special to finally open the doors and celebrate together.

We'd also LOVE to see the day through your eyes!
Don't forget to share your photos with us using the QR code or link below so we can capture all the special moments from our Grand Opening.
