Comedy Capers Gang Show Comedy Capers Gang Show is a youth performing arts group, a part of Scouts SA Comedy Capers Gang Show is performed in May of each year.

In 2021 performances will be held at The Hewitson Theatre, STARplex 18-20 Alexander Ave, Evanston Park, South Australia. We have a cast comprising Scouts and Guides from across the state. The show offers a variety of live music including a live band, singing, sketch and dancing. The show is produced and directed by Leaders and volunteers from each of the participating associations and are supporte

d by a large crew (over 150), fulfilling such positions as band, technical, set construction and administration.

Congratulations to Shaun Fundak, the winner of the Bob Wall Award for 2026.

Shaun has been a committed and passionate member of our gang for 9 years working across both the cast and the crew. He has stepped into a new role within the crew this year heading up our marketing team, showing incredible leadership and commitment to everything he has done. Shaun’s creativity and dedication have had an incredible impact on our show strengthening communications and audience engagement. He works with both the cast and crew with professionalism, care and a passion for the show.

The Bob Wall Award recognises a member of the Crew who has quietly gone about their role, as well as 'stepping outside' their role to assist other areas of the show. This award is nominated by their peers and is presented in front of the Cast and Crew following our matinee performance.

Congratulations to Akacia Vanmali, the Tommy Wright Award winner for 2026.
Akacia has been an enthusiastic and valued member of our cast for 5 years and now holds a leadership role within the gang as a patrol leader. You will often find Akacia at the front leading the way for mass movements as a committed role model for our cast.
The Tommy Wright award is an annual award that is awarded to the cast member who has gone above and beyond as voted by the Production Team.
You will see Akacia wearing her medallion in our finale each night.
