Unfortunately, both of our Southern skatepark hangouts have been cancelled this week due to the weather. ☔

BUT... we've got some great indoor alternatives! 🙌

🔥 This Friday, Streetlight will be hosting a special drop-in session at Wardli Youth Centre for young people aged 12–17.

🕠 Friday | 5:30–7:00pm
📍 Wardli Youth Centre, 13 McKinna Rd, Christie Downs

We'll have:
🎱 Pool table
🎨 Art
🎮 Games
🖊️ Henna
🌭 Food
☕ Hot chocolate

Come hang out, stay warm, connect with mates, and enjoy all the usual Streetlight vibes—just indoors this week!

And don't forget, if you're looking for something to do earlier in the week, many of these same activities (just without the Streetlight volunteers and from 3–5pm instead) are available every Tuesday and Wednesday at Wardli Arvo Club, hosted by the wonderful City of Onkaparinga Youth team. 💙

🆓 Free for all young people
🖤🤍 Keep an eye out for the Streetlight crew in black & white tees and lanyards—always up for a chat, with free water (and often Hot Chocolates!) on hand

Sadly, we need to cancel tonight's hangout at Seaford Skatepark. The rain is due to return from 5pm.

For those in and around Christies, it looks like there is a short break in the rain straight after school, so we're going to squeeze in a little catch-up at Morton Park. 😄

It will be low-key—just henna, hot chocolates, a basketball, and some friendly faces.

BUT — our awesome friends at The City of Onkaparinga have invited us to join them at Wardli Arvo Club 🙌

Hey legends — due to the rain, we can’t hang out at Seaford Skatepark like we usually would… so we’re switching things up for one night only! ☔➡️🏠

And the best part?
🍕 FREE PIZZA! 🍕

The council are kicking things off with the Seaford Bike Jumps Re-Opening from 3–5pm — pizzas, music, bikes, and good times — and then we’ll be rolling straight in afterwards to keep the afternoon going 🙌

We’re back at Niipu-niipu Wama / Morton Park this Wednesday from 5:30–7pm, and it’s all about good food, good people, and space to just be.

Here’s what’s on:

🌭 Free BBQ, dinner’s sorted
☕ Hot choc = yes please
🖌️ Henna art to get creative
🏀 Basketball & activities if you’re keen to move
🧣 Free hand-knitted scarves & beanies (made by legends, for legends)
