National Youth Volunteer Week has begun.

This week celebrates the energy, ideas, and impact of young volunteers across Australia. Our young leaders dedicate their time to support younger Scouts, helping them have great experiences, learn valuable skills, and reach goals they never thought possible.

Skyla from 1st Salisbury Scout Group is one of those young volunteers making a huge impact on our Scouts.

Her tremendous attitude is exactly what National Youth Volunteer Week is all about. We are so lucky to have young leaders like Skyla guiding our Scouts into the future.

Happy World Scout Day! 🌏⚜️

Today, Scouts across Australia join millions around the world in celebrating the founding of the Scout Movement — a movement that has inspired young people to lead, serve and make a positive difference for more than a century.

As we celebrate, we also extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated Leaders and adult volunteers whose passion, encouragement and commitment help make these opportunities possible for so many young people.

We are incredibly proud of our members who were nominated and are receiving Adult Recognition Awards for their role within Scouting 🎉

These passionate and dedicated individuals have gone above and beyond in their commitment to Scouts SA and the wider community. Their outstanding service and contributions have been recognised, and we are thrilled to celebrate their achievements.

Each recipient was nominated by fellow members of the Scouting community, with every nomination carefully reviewed by the Adult Recognition Committee (ARC) to ensure recipients meet the high standards and criteria for their respective awards.

And they’re off!
Casey and Blake and other Venturers from across SA are off to Snow Venture 2026 at the Bogong Rover Chalet near Falls Creek. Fingers crossed the snow turns up. See you in 10 days and we can’t wait to hear the stories. This is a great OAS opportunity to achieve some progressions if working towards your King’s Scout and open to Venturer Scouts, 15 to younger than 18yo at the start of Snow Venture

What a fantastic day out in the C*D! 🌟

Our Scouts spent the day exploring Adelaide, with members choosing between an adventure at the Old Adelaide Gaol or taking on the exciting Augmented Games challenge. 🏛️🎮

As the sun went down, we finished the day by wandering through the stunning Illuminate Adelaide City Lights displays, taking in the incredible light installations and atmosphere. ✨🌃

A day full of adventure, teamwork, and plenty of fun with great friends. We can't wait for our next Scout adventure!
