The other week we got to join young people from schools all across the North Eastern area for this year's Nunga Tag tournament!

We had such a great time watching the teams compete across a beautiful, sunny day!

Thanks for all the great conversations over the bracelet making and to everyone who took the time to say hi.

A big shout out to all the organisers who made such a great day happen 🌞

National Reconciliation Week (27 May to 3 June) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The National Reconciliation Week theme for 2026, All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

At headspace we remain committed to working towards and achieving reconciliation as we work alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their families and communities every week of the year 🖤💛❤

Today is National Sorry Day, a day where we come together to remember and acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generation survivors, their family and communities.

At headspace, we believe all First Nations young people have a right to culturally safe, inclusive and healing-centred care.

If you’re a young person needing support with your social and emotional wellbeing today or any day, our resources are here to help. For more information visit the link in our bio 💚

Growing up doesn’t come with a rulebook, and sometimes it helps to hear how other young people are navigating the same questions.

In our season finale, we answer anonymous questions from young people about real-life stuff… including how we can explore our identity when support isn’t there, knowing when work is affecting your mental health and much more!

This episode is all about reminding you that you don’t have to have everything figured out to be doing okay.

On Saturday the 21st of March, headspace Edinburgh North attended the Harmony Day celebration at the John McVeity Centre 🧡

With the motto 'Everyone belongs', Harmony Day/Week encourages us to appreciate our differences and similarities, promote inclusiveness, and show mutual respect for everyone, regardless of race, colour, religion, or background.

It was a fun-filled day celebrating our cultural diversity, with many organisations coming together to share more about how they can support young people and their families. We even had a special visit from the City of Playford Mayor, Glenn Docherty! 😀

What is one small action that you can take today to make sure everyone feels welcome in your community? One small action can have a large impact 🌸

Support shouldn’t stop after your appointment ends.

At headspace Edinburgh North we offer MOST, so you can keep working on your wellbeing anytime. MOST is backed by over 10 years of research, with mental health tools, activities and support designed just for young people.

On MOST you can:
🔸 explore activities at your own pace, to build skills and confidence
🔸 connect with a supportive community of other young people
🔸 reach out for help from qualified mental health professionals, peer workers or careers counsellors

It’s totally free for anyone aged 12-15. It works alongside the support you get from us, so you can feel supported between sessions.

💫 Keen to get access?
Ask us about MOST at your next appointment with your headspace worker.
