Today, Thursday 3 September, we’re celebrating the 10th annual Day of Fun with our incredible partners at Funlab!

For one day only, tickets at participating Funlab venues are just $5, whether you’re bowling at Strike, putting your skills to the test at Holey Moley, playing games at Archie Brothers or taking on Hijinx Hotel.

Even better, every donation and every dollar of revenue raised today will go directly towards helping more young people aged 12–25 access early mental health support.

At headspace, we’re committed to helping young people feel supported, connected and understood. We’ll continue working to make mental health support accessible, inclusive and welcoming for every young person who needs it.

Today, our team proudly wore purple to celebrate Wear It Purple Day and show our support for LGBTQIA+ young people and communities. 🌈💜

We’re proud to create a space where everyone feels welcome, respected, valued and safe to be themselves.

At headspace, we’re committed to providing inclusive, safe and welcoming spaces where young people of all identities, genders, sexualities and backgrounds can access support without judgement.

A few weeks ago, we joined headspace Port Adelaide at the Power Multicultural Cup!

We spent the day connecting with hundreds of young people from different cultural backgrounds, chatting about mental health, wellbeing and the importance of feeling connected and supported.

At headspace, we’re committed to supporting culturally and linguistically diverse communities and creating inclusive spaces where every young person can feel welcomed, heard and valued.

A huge thank you to headspace Port Adelaide and Port Adelaide ⚡ for having us along!

Check out the video to see some of the highlights from the day! ✨

This NAIDOC Week, we acknowledge the strength of the world's oldest continuing cultures and recognize the importance of listening, learning, and walking together in the spirit of respect and reconciliation.

The 2026 theme, "50 Years of Deadly," celebrates five decades of recognizing and honoring the strength, leadership, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while looking ahead to a future built on truth, respect, and self-determination.

At Headspace Edinburgh North, our commitment extends beyond NAIDOC Week. We are dedicated to creating a culturally safe and welcoming space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and their families by continuing to listen, learn, strengthen our partnerships with local Aboriginal communities and organisations, and embed culturally responsive practices into the work we do every day.

Together, we can help build a future where every young person feels seen, heard, respected, and supported.

Update: headspace at Twelve25 Youth Centre

As our pilot service at Twelve25 Youth Centre comes to an end on 7 August, we want to thank the for their partnership, and the Salisbury community for welcoming us into this space.

Over the past year, it’s been a privilege to connect with young people and provide free, confidential mental health support in a place that feels safe and familiar.

While this chapter is coming to a close, support is still very much available. Young people aged 12 to 25 can continue to access care through headspace Edinburgh North.

You can:
• Visit the centre: 2 Peachey Road, Edinburgh North
• Call the team: (08) 8209 0750
• Make an online referral: headspace.org.au/edinburgh-north
• Or get a referral through a GP, school or another service
This pilot has helped us build strong connections with young people in Salisbury and increase awareness of the support available - something we’re really proud of.

We’re committed to continuing this work and look forward to future opportunities to partner with the City of Salisbury to support young people in the community.

If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out - we’re here.

headspace Edinburgh North was proud to be part of the 2026 Deadly Futures Expo at Playford International College.

It was fantastic connecting with students from Kaurna Plains School, Playford International College, Salisbury High School, and Craigmore High School, alongside families, educators, and community organisations. Thank you to MADEC Australia and the Indigenous Youth Leadership Program (IYLP) for bringing everyone together for such a meaningful day.

💚 Supporting young people, celebrating culture, and creating pathways for the future.
