BRAVO to Lily, Trinity, Ellie, Sadie and Vidhumi who received their Bronze Endeavour award

And a huge BRAVO to Hailey for getting her Junior BP award

Echuca Girl Guides provide a girl lead program and take full opportunity of any guide who wants to lead a night.

Over the past two weeks we have had Emily, Chloe and Hailey all lead a night successfully.

Emily and Chloe taught the unit their style of drawing a little Dino and an anime character.
(On this night the Ranger painted with a twist- everyone 5mins they had to swap their canvas to the next person)

Hailey last night ran a murder mystery where the girls had to solve who murdered Wallaroo 🤣

Both nights were enjoyed by all and provided new skills, confidence, leadership.

Leader self reflection:

There are some nights that just don’t go to plan and well tonight was one of them

The concept was meet by decoding a location to get a task to complete. It was the task information that was too long which lost engagement and was maybe aimed for an older age group.

Will re write this nights activity looking at how the information could have been delivered better for activities to be completed within time frame.

It’s always good for leaders to reflect on nights and tonight is one of them.

Rangers had fun making their brownies and eating them in extended guides tonight.❤️

Last night we had two more members join our unit by completing their promise. BRAVO to Emily and Milla.

Reminders
Tonight is Promise Ceremony - full uniform is required including sashes. Many girls will also be receiving badges tonight if family and friends would like to attend.
Start time 7pm sharp

Region Skills Day - Saturday 30th May 10am til 2pm- at Bendigo- please confirm tonight if attending

New Winter Uniform now available for purchase.
Youth polo long sleeve shirts. $48 each
As a promotion for this uniform the unit will cover $10 off each shirt ordered.(cost $38 with promotion)
I have two sizes with me tonight for see and try if required.
I will be placing an order after next week

What an amazing night we had at Bunnings Echuca.

Girls got to paint a craft for their mums and run around the store on a scavenger hunt. Extra point was given for teams who could create our guiding trefoil using items in the store.
