PARK RUN EVE!!! 🙌

Weather seems to be getting into the Halloween spirit as well going by tomorrow's forecast but at this stage we are still keen and eager to Warm up with a 5km parkrun in the morning same as any other week

First Timers briefing at 7:50
Main briefing at 7:55
Sound of feet stamping the gravel at 8am

In addition to our usual event, for those who would like to participate there is parkwalk for Daniel Morecombe. By wearing red you will be showing support for child safety. Also it's Halloween, so feel free to dress up for that too.

A little birdie also tells us that one of our regular participants is completing his Run Down Under journey tomorrow morning. 14,080 ks. A massive achievement.

** PLEASE MONITOR THIS PAGE FOR ANY UPDATES IN THE MORNING DUE TO WEATHER RISK IN CASE OF ANY CHANGES **

Another fabulous day for a parkrun. Despite showers before the event, the wet weather stayed away for the run.
We had 95 keen runners out on the course, with visitors from Brisbane and Mt Beauty - welcome to you all. We also had one new parkrunner and one 50th milestone - a big congratulations to you both.
A reminder that there will be no parkrun at Eastern Gardens on 7th November, as the CGG has withdrawn our permit to run an event (possibly because of Run Geelong the next day).
Photos should be up on our Facebook site shortly shortly.
Please check out our future event roster at https://www.parkrun.com.au/easterngardens/futureroster/. We encourage everyone to get involved, as it's great fun, and extra bonus - all roles are very easy.
Enjoy your running, jogging and walking this week, and we will see you next weekend.

- First timer briefing: 7:50am
