Residential and eligible business customer members will be paid for approved meeting and preparation time. Approved travel will also be supported.

Have you registered for tomorrow's Cuppa with IDA?

Our last Wednesday Cuppa with IDA was a great event.

Providing a perfect excuse to meet up with fellow IDA members and the team, it was a lot of fun and helpful to:

* hear what’s happening locally,
* find out more about upcoming IDA events,
* build new connections
* learn about the NT Companion Card,
* ask a question
* get some information or advice and
* have a good chat over a cup of tea or coffee (and maybe a biscuit or slice of cake).

These catch-ups are held on the first Wednesday every month.

Details for tomorrow's Cuppa :

🗓️ Date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026
⏰ Time: 10am to 11am
📍 Location: Waterfront Function Room @ Trailer Boat Club, 8 Atkinson Drive, Fannie Bay

The venue provides free off-street parking with designated wheelchair-accessible spaces near the entrance and is fully accessible - including ramp access, flat pathways, and accessible toilet facilities.

A huge thank you to the incredible sponsors and exhibitors who supported our recent Alice Springs Disability Expo!

With 33 stallholders and more than 300 attendees through the doors in just three hours, the Expo was a fantastic success!

It was wonderful to showcase the services, supports and opportunities available across the Territory, while connecting our community with valuable information and resources.

We couldn’t have done it without the generous support of our sponsors and exhibitors.

Thank you to everyone who came along, participated and helped make this year’s Expo such a success.

See you again next year!

19/08/2026

On Thursday 13th August we held Alice Springs Disability Expo 2026.

It was a great success, with stallholders showcasing their services and sharing valuable information with attendees around what’s available for our community.

We loved seeing so many people come through the door.

Special mentions and thanks to our sponsors - Alice Springs Town Council, Jacana Energy, Life Without Barriers, Territory Care and Support Services, Enable Opportunities, Disability Gateway and Disability Advocacy Service.

You helped make it happen!

A big thank you to our stallholders and to everyone who attended.

We hope that everyone found it useful and a fun opportunity to learn more about the support options available in the Territory.

We look forward to welcoming you all again to next year’s Alice Springs Disability Expo.
