At our most recent Social Connection cooking class, we got stuck into some Mexican cooking! 🌮✨

Our veterans spent the evening learning something new, connecting with one another, and putting together some amazing fish tacos that tasted as good as they looked.

Events like this are all about connection: spending time with fellow veterans, picking up a new skill, and sharing a great meal together.

A big thank you to Lauren from our VSC team for organising this event and all of our Social Connection events. Your hard work makes these days possible and is so appreciated by everyone who attends.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Gold Coast Health & Support Expo! 💚

Thank you to everyone who came along to Currumbin RSL and made the day such a success. The Expo was proudly hosted by the Currumbin Palm Beach RSL Sub-Branchand the Veterans' Support Centre.

With many exhibitors, engaging guest speakers and a fantastic crowd of veterans, families and supporters, the room was full of conversation, connection and plenty of good yarns.

It was a powerful reminder of how much support is available to our veteran community here on the Gold Coast, from health and wellbeing services to advocacy, employment and social connection.

A big thank you to every organisation and volunteer who gave their time. We’re proud to work alongside so many people who are committed to looking after those who’ve served.

Come along to meet local organisations and services that are here to support veterans, families and carers. There’ll be guest speakers throughout the morning, so bring a mate, grab a cuppa, and come say hello.

A day on the Humpback Highway! 🌊🐋

Our latest Social Connection event took us out on the water for a spectacular whale watching cruise as the season draws to a close!

Our veterans joined us for an unforgettable day on the water, packed with sights, stories, and the chance to see one of nature’s most breathtaking migrations up close. There were smiles, laughs, and plenty of whale sightings to go around.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable day.

On the 11th November 2026 Currumbin Palm Beach RSL Sub Branch will hold a Remembrance Day service in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and conflicts.

Guest arrival from 9.30am
Service commencing at 10.10am
Everyone is welcome – no registration required

If you wish to lay a white cross, please contact the Veterans' Support Centre on 5559 5022.

Following the service there will be a Luncheon* held in Waterside Events (upstairs in Currumbin RSL).
