What an awesome time we had racing at the National Marathon Titles in Coffs Harbour - and some exciting conditions to paddle in too! 🌊

Such a beautiful location and a huge thank you to Coffs Coast Outrigger Canoe Club and AOCRA for hosting a fantastic event. We really appreciated all the effort that went into making it happen. 🤙🏽

Big thanks as well to Paddle Life for the incredible photos and footage - so good to relive the action!

From all of us at our club, thank you to the organisers, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes - you absolutely smashed it! 🙌🏽

Supporting our Community 🫶🏽

Our volunteer-led Outrigger Canoe Club of Australia is powered by accredited coaches who generously give their time to deliver safe, inclusive and high-quality training for our paddlers.

Thanks to the Community Investment Program, funding for a two-person OC2 support craft has been provided - significantly boosting on-water safety and real-time coaching. This support craft allows coaches to move quickly between crews, respond faster in emergencies, and effectively support up to six OC6 canoes training at once. 💚

A vital step in keeping paddlers safe, supported and connected on the water - made possible through the support of Community Bank Tugun.

Shout out to Mick from Aust Paddler Hq for giving us great service when purchasing the Nalu vessel as well. 🙌🏽

🌊 Marathon Series 2026 - Bell’s Beach, Clontarf 🌞

What a cracking day on the water at Bell’s Beach, Clontarf - sunshine, blue skies and hot conditions set the scene for an excellent start to this year’s race calendar.

A huge thank you to Redcliffe Outrigger Canoe Club Inc and South Queensland Zone AOCRA for their organisation and smooth management of course logistics and race schedules. 🙏🏽 The day featured both short (8km) and long (16km) courses across OC6, OC3, OC2 and OC1 craft, and our paddlers delivered a strong and successful showing across the board. 🙌🏽

It was fantastic to see such a great turnout of OCCOA members on the start lines - strong paddling, great teamwork and plenty of smiles on the water. Bring on the rest of the season! 💚🤍💚
