Dear Members & Supporters,

It is with the greatest sadness that I advise you all of the passing of Bob 'Cowboy' August.

Bob was a great man, husband, father, mentor and one of our original Co-Founders of Ability ID.

I am honored to have worked beside Bob, not only within Ability ID, but also on previous humanitarian works in Vanuatu where each of the Ni-Van Tribal Chiefs held you in the highest of esteem and respect.

At the meeting, members will have the opportunity to:
Find out about Ability ID’s operations and finances, ask questions about the operations and finances of Ability ID, speak about any items on the agenda, vote on any resolutions proposed.

At the meeting, members will be asked to vote to:
Accept the minutes of the last annual general meeting, accept the annual report, accept the auditor’s report, accept the annual financial statements, appoint and pay an auditor and elect directors.

All members of Ability ID Association of Australia Inc. are eligible to vote via:
a) Attending the AGM 2025, or
b) Early Electronic Voting Ballet, or
c) Early Proxy Voting Ballet.

Dear friends,

It is with unimaginable heart break I must inform our members, supporters, sponsors and friends of the passing of our CEO's, Leanne Whitehouse youngest son on 28/9/2025.

I know you all join me in expressing our deepest and sincerest condolences to Leanne and her eldest son.

This tragic event has brought our humble little charity crashing to its knees and grinding to a halt of inexpressible profound sadness.

We advise everyone that our weekly, live and online support services have been postponed until further notice.
Additional delays can be expected in processing VPIC Safety Program and sponsor applications.

As we begin to navigate this huge void and pick up the pieces, we thank you for your grace, understanding and patience.

2024 Reflections

As 2024 draws to a close it is time to slow down and reflect on an awesome year filled with amazing people.
The comradery, support and generosity of our community is truly inspiring and heart warming.

We have had great feedback from our members, health care providers and the general public
of the practicality and usefulness of our VPIC Safety Program - ID card and webpages.
It makes me proud that our services have been utilised to great individual benefit in real life circumstances, many instances this year.

I wish to express our combined heartfelt gratitude to The Table of Knowledge for their ongoing generous support of our small charity throughout the year.

On behalf of the Management Committee and Volunteers of Ability ID, I wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas & New Year, filled with love, good health and peace.
