A friendly reminder to all members, parents and spectators that when taking photos or videos at community sport, please always ask for permission first and respect the wishes of others.

The Netball Australia Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy and Netball NSW Photography Policy place the safety, wellbeing and privacy of participants at the forefront. While these policies provide specific protections for children and young people, respect for privacy extends to everyone in our netball community.

Not everyone, whether a player, coach, umpire, volunteer, parent or spectator, wishes to be photographed, video or appear on social media. If someone asks not to be included in photos or videos, please respect their decision without question.

Community sport should be a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all. A simple "Do you mind if I take a photo?" goes a long way.

πŸ’™ Ask first.
πŸ’™ Respect the answer.
πŸ’™ Help keep our community safe and welcoming.

On Saturday 27 June, Manly Warringah Netball Association will once again be holding our annual Crazy Hair & Sock Day.
We encourage all players, coaches, umpires, officials and spectators to join in the fun by wearing their craziest socks, most colourful hairstyles, or both! It is always one of the most enjoyable and colourful days of our season and a wonderful opportunity for our netball community to come together for a great cause.
This year's event is about more than just having fun. It is an opportunity to raise funds for an important charity that provides support, services and hope to individuals and families facing challenging circumstances. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps make a real difference. Every year, thousands of Australian children and their families face the devastating impact of childhood cancer. Funds raised help support vital scientific research aimed at developing better treatments, improving survival rates and ultimately finding cures for childhood cancers. Through the generosity of our netball community, we hope to make a meaningful contribution to this important work and help create brighter futures for children and their families.

As with previous years, all donations will be made online through our official fundraising page. https://crazyhairnetball.raiselysite.com/manlywarringahnetballassociation

Please note that cash donations will not be accepted on the day.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing a sea of crazy hair and colourful socks around the courts on 27 June!

πŸ’™πŸ€ SENIOR STATE TITLES 2026 FINAL RESULTS πŸ€πŸ’™

🏐 The Final Countdown Is On!

With just 2 days to go until the 2026 Senior State Titles, we would like to acknowledge and celebrate the 420 umpires representing 89 associations who will be officiating across the weekend.

From first-time State Titles umpires to our most experienced officials, each of you plays a vital role in making this event possible. Your commitment for officiating continues to strengthen our game and create positive experiences for players across NSW.

We wish all umpires a fantastic weekend of learning, growth and achievement as you take the court at Penrith and Baulkham Hills.

Thank you for your commitment to our game, and we look forward to seeing you in action this weekend. πŸ’™πŸ

This Saturday, the The Salvation Army Australia will be visiting John Fisher Park as part of the 2026 Red Shield Appeal. ❀️

MWNA has proudly supported this worthy cause for many years and we encourage our community to get behind it once again.

Times are tough for many families in our local community and every donation, big or small can make a real difference.

If you are able to spare a few dollars while at the courts on Saturday, please consider supporting the Red Shield Appeal.
Thank you for helping those who need it most.

Message from Manly Warringah Netball Association MWNA.

As we head into Game Three this weekend, it has been wonderful to see such a big support crew down at the courts cheering on our teams. The atmosphere has been fantastic πŸ’™

Just a little reminder though that we have a huge number of games running across a very busy venue, with limited space around the courts. Please ensure younger siblings are supervised at all times. Last weekend we had a few incidents with small children running into umpires, skating onto courts and balls travelling through active games.

John Fisher Park is an open public space, so children should also be supervised when heading to the canteen, toilets or the park.

For everyone’s safety:
❌ Please leave bikes, skateboards and scooters at home
❌ E-bikes are not permitted within John Fisher Park. If they are being used as transport to and from the courts, they are to be left at the bike racks along Abbott Road and not brought between the courts
❌ Our furry friends are best left at home too
❌ Chairs should be set up at the ends of courts and away from the umpire’s lines.

Thank you everyone for helping us create a safe and enjoyable environment for all players, officials and spectators this weekend. Let Netball be the winner. 🏐

We’re excited to launch Netball HQ Live Scoring this weekend!

Before game day, please make sure your HOME team has:
βœ”οΈ A manager registered
βœ”οΈ Allocated to the team
βœ”οΈ Ready to go on the day

If your manager is unavailable, have a Plan B in place so you’re covered.

While the home team will enter the scores, we also need someone from the away team to stand alongside the scorer to help verify goals.

Let’s work together to make this rollout smooth and successful for everyone. Good luck for Round 2!
