Mater Dei Organisation Mater Dei belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called Good Samaritan Education (GSE).

Mater Dei is an organisation that provides therapy services and education for babies, children, young people and adults with intellectual disability or developmental delay. Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of Good Samaritan Education is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning. 💙 EXPLORING OUR ‘WHY’ 💙

🤝 On Tuesday, staff from across Mater Dei Organisation came together to reflect on our shared purpose, values and the impact we have on the children, students, participants and families we support.

✨ Guided by two Sisters of the Good Samaritan Oblates speakers, Libby Denny and Patricia Thomas, the staff explored our collective 'why' through the lens of our Benedictine traditions. We also discussed and identified the actions that bring our values to life each day.

🌍 Our own Mater Dei School, Camden Deputy Principal, Toni Sillis, shared insights from her recent Good Samaritan Benedictine Pilgrimage and how these experiences help shape our values as we look to the future.

🙏 Thank you to Libby and Patricia for facilitating such meaningful conversations, and to St Clare's Catholic Primary School, Narellan Vale for hosting us in such a welcoming setting.

🌟 We left feeling inspired, connected and excited for the future ahead.

🎉 THANK YOU FOR A RECORD-SETTING NIGHT! 🎉

🍟 Our McDonald's Charity Fun Night for Mater Dei was not only a wonderful night of delicious food and heartwarming support, but it was also a record-setting evening, with $7,051 raised.

💛 This is our LARGEST EVER total, and we simply could not have achieved this without the support of YOU – our amazing community!

👏 To celebrate this achievement and show our tremendous gratitude, yesterday, Mater Dei School, Camden Captains Hannah and Deegan visited our local McDonald’s Camden restaurant to thank Elyse, Kim, Brooke and the McDonald’s in Macarthur team.

🌟 We are incredibly grateful to McDonald's in Macarthur and all who supported us on the night. Your continued generosity and dedication to supporting our children, students and participants is greatly appreciated.
