Here's what our pantry needs most this week:
🍝 Bolognese Pasta Sauce 500g
🍝 Creamy Pasta Sauce 500g
🥡 Asian Stir Fry Sauce 500g
🍚 Rice 1kg (white or brown)
🥫 Canned Vegetables 410g (corn, peas, carrots, beetroot, mushrooms or potatoes)
These are the building blocks. A few tins and jars can feed a family for days.

We are over the halfway mark for 2026 and this community has shown up in the most remarkable way.
In just the first half of this year:
🥗 916 meals served in-house
👨‍👩‍👧 66 new clients welcomed through our doors
📦 Over 2000 families supported so far this year through our pantry.
Behind every one of those numbers is a real person, a parent, a neighbour, someone's grandparent, who walked through our doors and found they weren't alone.

🎺 An incredible night of music is coming to Camden and it's raising funds for us!
The Camden Community Band presents The Last Night of the Proms a feast of musical proportion, right here in the heart of Camden.
Expect the classics, Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory and a full evening of live brass band music that will have you on your feet. 🎶

Loneliness is one of the quietest crises in our community and one of the most common.

When Turning Point Camden first opened its doors, our very first initiative wasn't a food pantry or a hamper drive. It was simply this: a place where people could come in, sit down, and be with other people.

A cuppa. A bite to eat. A conversation around a table.

That's still what we do every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. No agenda. No appointment. Just a warm, welcoming space for anyone who needs it.

Because sometimes what a person needs most isn't food or a voucher. It's someone to talk to. 💙

If you know someone who might benefit from just having somewhere to go please share this post. It could make more of a difference than you know.

💛 Last week we shared the incredible news that Rotary Clubs of Picton, Camden and Wollondilly North raised $23,000 for us at their charity golf day and we want you to know what that means for Turning Point Camden and the people we support.

📦 $23,000 helps us deliver hundreds of food hampers to families doing it tough
🥗 It keeps our pantry stocked for months
☕ It means dignity a coffee, a meal, someone to talk to, for people who need it most

🍳 Hey fellas this one's for you.

Every Friday morning from 9:30 to 11:30am, Turning Point Camden runs a free Men's Support Group right here in Camden.

Come along for a BBQ breakfast, a coffee or tea, and some good company with a team of both male and female volunteers who are genuinely there to listen, no agenda, no pressure.

A male Chaplain is also available if you'd like someone to talk to one-on-one. Bookings essential for Chaplaincy.

Sometimes the hardest thing is just walking through the door. We get that. You're welcome here. 💙
