Back in 2016, Doctor Elizabeth Corley was the Bailey's Day Fellow.

Then came a decade in London, where Doctor Elizabeth Corley trained in early phase trials and built world-class expertise in paediatric oncology, learning from some of the best in the world. And then she made the journey home to Monash Children's, this time as a consultant.

This is what Bailey's Day makes possible: doctors who train with us, grow beyond us, and bring the very latest in paediatric oncology care back to the families who need it most. 🧸

It started with one consultant. Then one fellow. Today, it has helped fund 22 paediatric oncology fellowships at Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.

Nobody plans for diagnosis day. One phone call. One room. One sentence that changes a family's world forever. For over 22 years, Bailey's Day has supported the frontline fellow position at Monash Children's.

It's the doctor who meets a family on the day of diagnosis. Who stays by their side through intensive treatment on the ward, and sees them again in outpatients. And who learns from the children and families themselves, because our patients help teach the next generation of doctors too.

Something very special is coming. 💙

In 2027, Bailey would have turned 25.

To mark that milestone, we’re bringing the Bailey’s Day community together for an extraordinary birthday celebration at Palladium at Crown, Melbourne - with Kate Ceberano live in concert.

It will be a night to dress up, celebrate everything Bailey’s Day has achieved, and help secure what comes next.

Since Bailey’s Day began, more than $5.5 million has been raised and 23 children’s oncology fellowships have been funded. For Bailey’s 25th birthday, our ambition is to raise $500,000 to help future-proof the paediatric oncology fellowship program at Monash Children’s Hospital.

We’ve been a little quiet lately. But Bailey’s Day hasn’t been standing still. 💙

For more than two decades, Bailey’s Day has brought people together to help children with cancer and support paediatric oncology at Monash Children’s Hospital.

In 2027, we’re planning something very special - and something a little different.

What a day. What a result. What a community.
We are incredibly proud to share that Bailey’s Day 2026 has raised AU$305,000 and counting in support of the Bailey’s Day Foundation and the Monash Children’s Cancer Centre.
To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, bid, played, volunteered and supported the day in any way - thank you. Your generosity, kindness and belief in what Bailey’s Day stands for helped make this year’s event truly unforgettable.
What began as a day has grown into something much more. Through the Bailey’s Day Foundation, this support continues well beyond the event itself - helping make a real difference where it is needed most.
