In 2024, Bailey's Day will mark two decades of unwavering commitment to the Monash Children's Cancer Centre. This charity event has played a pivotal role in raising millions of dollars for children's cancer. This includes funding the training of 21 paediatric cancer oncologists and contributing to developing the world-class Monash Children's Cancer Centre. Bailey Tessier's inspiring story fuels the mission of Bailey's Day. Diagnosed with Medulloblastoma at the age of two, Bailey's short but impactful journey laid the foundation for this incredible initiative. Bailey's Day has become a beacon of hope, raising nearly $5 million to support training programs, increase cure rates, and advance critical research. We are proud to share that the fellowship program, envisioned by A/Prof. Peter Downie AM and Bailey's father, Patrick Tessier OAM, continues to thrive. Downie AM now leads a dedicated team of over 25 experts, providing world-class care to approximately 100 children annually. This year, our goal is to raise $400,000 to ensure the sustainability of this life-altering fellowship program. Your generous support will directly impact the lives of children and their families, providing them with the care and hope they deserve.
