Door of Hope Australia Inc. Door Of Hope Australia (DOHA) is a child-focused, non profit, NGO, established to improve living conditions and help alleviate suffering caused by poverty.

DOHA was established in 1996 and our mandate is to improve living conditions for children within communities in developing nations, especially those affected by extreme poverty and war. We aim to do this through projects that enable children access to education, health & medical care, improved water & sanitation and income generation for their primary carers. Currently DOHA is supporting projects in Fiji, Sri Lanka and Southern Sudan.

It all began in 1996, on the steps of an orphanage in Irian Jaya. What started as a simple commitment to act has grown into a three-decade legacy of hope.

From those first steps, Door of Hope Australia has travelled across oceans to reach disadvantaged children and families in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Kenya, South Sudan, and beyond. Through Community Development and Disaster Relief, we are committed to opening doors for those who need them most.
