Windansea Boardriders Club Current President Terry Landsberg

WindanSea quickly asserted itself as a dominant force in the surfing arena and the club showcased its competitive edge when they won the Presidents Cup against their southern counterparts on the Gold Coast. The club also Hosts the Annual Pa & Ma Bendall Memorial Surfing Contest which has seen Surfers such as Gerry Lopez, Terry Fitzgerald, Richard Harvey, Michael Peterson, Peter Drouyn and Nat Youn

g have all compete in this event. Nowadays we see professional surfers like Joel Parkinson, Serena Brooke, and Wade Goodall all from Caloundra who are past and present members of WindanSea Boardriders surfing in this contest. This event still remains the second longest surfing contest in Australia (2nd to Bell’s Classic)

Today the club has over 100 members with many of the juniors competing in world recognised events.

ATTENTION MEMBERS

The Auditor for Windansea Boardriders inc. expects the financials will be ready mid to late August.

With this in mind the AGM will be Wednesday 2nd September (in combination of our General Meeting). Location- The WindanSea Community Clubhouse

All positions are up for self nomination and/or others to be nominated.

Thriving on Junior Development 👊👊

How lucky are our top Juniors to have the opportunity to be coached by Matt; a two time Olympic coach!!

Today was something real spectacular - Our Juniors received nutrition advice for before and after competitions, video analysis break down on each individual on what they can do to excel further with their surfing, and bonding time together.

A massive THANK YOU to our Vice President and Contest Director for organising an EPIC event for our Juniors 👏
