ARC Disability As the largest independent NDIS service provider in Cairns, ARC Disability has been providing 'more than just support' since 1976.

Established in 1976 by a group of parents with a vision for their children, we pride ourselves on being person focused, friendly, flexible and fun! Our Vision is that people who have a disability are empowered to reach their full potential, dreams and aspirations, enabling them to enjoy a fulfilling life of their choosing as valued members of the community. We work collaboratively with our service

users, their support networks and the community to facilitate a range of options and opportunities which promote active participation for all.

🏅 Paralympian Grant 'Scooter' Patterson on motivation, lived experience and inclusion

⚓️ Adam Sellars from The Pressure Project on resilience and performing under pressure

💡 Kim Adams from the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services & Child Safety on recognising and responding to Domestic and Family Violence

🌈 Bryce Pace on intersectional identity and how to be an ally to the neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities.

It was fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces on the day - we're proud to be part of a caring community striving for better every day. 👏

CRU’s Co-Design Essentials workshop is designed to help you build skills and confidence to be ready to take part in co-design work.
