A huge thank you to the amazing people at Ukraine Crisis Appeal, and especially Lachowicz, for the incredible work they do each year sending container loads of aid to Ukraine.

This year, they kindly made space for some OPT equipment too, which is such a practical help.

We’re also very grateful to our friend Graham Jones and crew, who sourced donated specialised ophthalmological equipment and packed it up ready to go, along with warm blankets and coats for the coming winter.

Every act of generosity helps keep support moving to Ukraine.

I’m filming this from where they will have the Slow Down Retreat this week, and honestly, I understand why this place was chosen.⁠

So much to do to get our Ukraine base in order and ready to serve. So grateful for kind people like volunteer Helena Chlepnac who insisted on coming and getting in the garden with me- she’s way overqualified for that but was willing to do whatever to help. Also has helped us with immigration office translation of the bureaucratic back and forth… one Ukrainian told me they call it their ‘circle of hell’ 😫 . Thanks Helena!
